I'm a software developer. I founded Tabreon and build, test and maintain every tool on it as a small, independently run project. I also write the guides in the Learn section.

I also founded AstroMystra, where I lead product development and review the public educational content. The idea behind both is the same: say plainly what the software does and doesn't do.

How I check the guides

Limits, formats and settings quoted for a Tabreon tool come from the tool's own code. Automated tests read those values, so a guide that falls out of step with its tool fails the build.
Each guide also lists what the tool can't do, such as file size limits, missing formats, or doing one file at a time.
The "best free" guides compare Tabreon with named alternatives, checked on each tool's own website on the date shown, and say when another tool is the better pick.
Every guide shows when it was published and last updated. If you spot something wrong, tell me on the feedback page or at hello@tabreon.com.
