What is a UUID?
A UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) is a 128-bit value, usually written as 32 hex digits split into five groups (e.g. 550e8400-e29b-41d4-a716-446655440000). Version 4, which this tool generates, is built entirely from random bits, making collisions between two independently generated UUIDs astronomically unlikely — practical enough that they're used as database primary keys, session tokens, and request IDs without checking for uniqueness against existing values.
